Alana was born profoundly deaf, but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her dreams. Starting from a young age, she worked hard to overcome her hearing problems and be able to speak freely and fluently. She is an outgoing and optimistic person, an animal lover, environmentalist and a life-long vegetarian. She welcomes new adventures and enjoys meeting new people.
In the program ‘Follow Alana’, she introduces the wonderful scenery, lifestyle, cultures and foods of this beautiful island of Taiwan and places she visited through her personal experience. The aim of this show is to make every adventure a learning experience that touches the heart. With an emphasis on green tourism, Alana’s adventures revolve around three recurring themes: ‘adventure’, ‘scenery’, and ‘food’. We hope to introduce the audience to exciting outdoor activities, delicious and healthy vegetarian foods, and enchanting local scenery and cultures.
Xiaoliuqui has a diverse ecosystem, which makes the area most common to encounter sea turtles. The community has put much effort to protect sea turtles. This episode we will dig into the issue of the conservation in Xiaoliuqui.
