Karl Watson returns to travel around New Zealand for a 7 week road trip, backpacking both the North and South Islands. He begins in the North Island, at the capital city of Wellington. Driving with his Kiwi friend Matt, he takes him off the beaten track to show him how Kiwi's enjoy their own country. Stops include Vinegar Hill, Napier, Tokomaru Bay, Rere Rockslide and Whakatane. Then Karl takes Matt on the classic backpacking trail, making him a tourist in his own country. Trail stops include Auckland, Waiheke Island, Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Rotorua, Taupo and the Tongariro Crossing.
