Take an exclusive look at the last generation face tattooed women living in the remote mountain areas of Myanmar. An ethnographic short documentary that uncover the story behind their face tattoos and reveal how these tribe still maintain their life like their ancestors lived.

Since a very young age I’m fascinated by adventure, pushing my limits and exploring the unknown. My goal is to connect with the essence of purity and share this with the world. This solo journey brought me deep into the remote mountain areas of Myanmar to discover something I had only heard of. A train accident, many off-road kilometers, communication issues and the endless search of directions made the encounter with the Chin tribes even more memorable and turned out in some of my best work. I’m grateful for the chance of making a short documentary about the last face tattooed woman of Myanmar.

Face My Tribe is a non-profit production and created with love for filmmaking. After the release of the Face My Tribe trailer, Discovery Channel approached me to showcase this short documentary on their platform. Amazing how things can go!
